US Open Junior champion Alex Eala needed just an hour and 28 minutes to pull the plug on American Jenna DeFalco's bid, 6-1, 6-2, in the quarterfinal round of the W25 Aldershot women's singles tournament at the Aldershot Tennis Centre in England last Saturday.

Up next for Eala is local entry Katy Dunne, who the Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy product is facing at press time.
If victorious, Eala will win her fifth professional crown.

Just last week, she ruled the W25 Roheampton in London.

Eala will be skipping this year's US Open in favor of participating in the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China from 23 September to 8 October.

Eala previously defeated Dunne, 7-5, 2-6, 6-2, in the first round of the W25 Yecla women's singles in Spain last June, where she eventually won the title.
