Gilas suffers second loss in Jones Cup

Chinese Taipei-White dealt Gilas Pilipinas Women's second loss, 83-94, in the 2023 William Jones Cup at the Taipei Heping Gymnasium in Taipei on Monday evening.

Dai Yiting paced Chinese Taipei-White with 19 points while Zhang Yiwen contributed 17 points.

Afril Bernardino led the Philippines with 22 points as the Gilas Women's team sank to a 1-2 win-loss record.

The Philippines will face Women's Korean Basketball League champion Busan BNK Sum on Tuesday, 8 August, at 3:00 p.m. at the same venue.
