Pierre Monserrate and Anton Punzalan seized the lead in Class C after combining for 77 points in the second day of the Sta. Elena Cup at the Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club in Cabuyao, Laguna Thursday.
Monserrate-Punzalan bested the 74s posted by Juan Martin Magsanoc-Raymond Sangil and Roland Azriel Avante-Rolando Avante on Wednesday.
The leaders in Class A and Class B remained unchanged.
Basti Lorenzo and Gabriel Manotoc were on top of Class A with 76 while Patrick King-Carlos Yu led Class B also with 76.
The two-round event spread over five days ends on Sunday.
