Intelligence operatives of the Parañaque City Police arrested three suspects caught playing fruit game machines following a tip from a concerned citizen that a group of individuals was engaged in illegal gambling at Fourth Estate Area 1 Lazaro Compound, Barangay San Antonio, Parañaque City at dawn yesterday.

The suspects were identified as Ronald Sumalinog y Gonzaga, 28 years old, driver; Rowell Caquicala y Jobilado, 58 years old, driver; and Christian Lazaro y Honrubia, 43 years old.

Two fruit game machines and 96 pieces of 1 coin were seized during the operation.

The suspects were turned over to the intelligence office for proper disposition. Charges of violating P.D 1602 (Fruit Game Machine) will be filed against them before the fiscal office.
