BAGUIO CITY — The office of the "Baguio's Bravest" is calling on the residents of Baguio City to always be mindful of the things they do especially during the holidays to avoid fire incidents.
This comes after a blaze razed a residential house in Purok 14, Proper Cypress Point, Irisan on Monday morning.
Reports said that personnel of the Baguio City Fire Station of the Bureau of Fire Protection immediately rushed to the vicinity and were assisted by the Baguio police and members of the Irisan Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
The fire started at 9:44 a.m. and was declared fire-out at 10:40 a.m.
Based on the result of the initial investigations of the BFP Baguio, the origin of the fire due to an unattended stove as the owner fell asleep while cooking.
The damage was estimated at around P45,000.
