Kahit namamayagpag na sa telebisyon ang Mars Ravelo's Darna at marami ang tumatangkilik dito ay mayroon pa ring mga nagsasalita ng hindi maganda kaugnay sa nasabing fantaserye.

Ayon sa ilang mga netizens, hindi umano magandang CG o computer graphics ang ginagamit sa serye dahil sobrang luma na panahon pa ng 70s o 80s.

Ang binabanggit ng netizens ay ang lumilipad si Darna tapos may malaking ahas si Valentina na nakaabang sa kanya na nagmukhang anime.

Sinabi naman ni Benedict Mique na isa sa mga direktor ng serye na tanggap naman nila ang mga komentong ito at aware sila sa resulta ng kanilang programa.

"The team takes in consideration both negative and positive feedback. Despite the limitations of producing a show like Darna in a limited market like ours, the team is trying its best to give the viewers a good show," sabi ni Direk Benedict.

"It's also admirable for ABS-CBN to produce a show like this in the midst of all the challenges that the network is facing. In the end, Darna as a show has provided jobs for a lot of people in the industry at the same time quality entertainment for the viewers. Maraming lessons na natutunan ang Darna team at makakasiguro ang viewers na magagamit ang mga aral na iyon sa ikagaganda pa ng mga susunod na shows ng ABS tulad ng Darna. Nagpapasalamat din ako personally sa mga viewers dahil Darna has been consistently on top in terms of views online which I think is the trend right now because the audience has shifted online.
