The Cubao Rangers of the Upsilon Sigma Phi recently sponsored their annual Christmas party for orphans residing at the Concordia Children's Services foster home, and children from marginalized families under the care of the said institution.
Some 34 children were treated to an entire afternoon of food, drinks, games, prizes and surprises at the McDonald's Kamuning branch last 6 December under the care of Concordia's Hazel Juanico and Cubao Rangers' Jose Rabago.
Among the Upsilonians who were present were retired Ambassador Jesus Yabes, labor commissioner Victor Avecilla, agriculturist Boy Enrile, architect Beato Sason, journalist Barok Biraogo,
businessman John Gutierrez, and retired officials Ernie Rivera and Tito Dacanay.
Aside from cash gifts and food supplies for the foster home, the Cubao Rangers also gave Concordia a check for P50,000.00 for the benefit of the youthful wards.
