NEW CLARK CITY — The Central Luzon Growth Corridor Foundation Inc. is calling on South Korean investors to locate in Central Luzon, particularly in New Clark City.
During the Central Luzon Outbound Trade and Investment Mission to Korea, the CLGCFI has urged South Koreans to consider Region 3 as an ideal destination for their companies to locate.
The outbound trade mission has provided local government units and investment promotion agencies in the region the opportunity to establish linkages with Korean companies and benchmark best practices from industry experts.
According to CLGCFI president and Tarlac Governor Susan Yap, the delegation included officials from the Department of Trade and Industry, Bases Conversion and Development Authority, Authority of the Freeport of Bataan and the local government units of Aurora, Bataan, Tarlac and Zambales.
Yap also said that during the trade mission, the delegation conducted a conference with potential investors, showcasing Central Luzon as one of the leading growth areas in the Philippines.
The governor also provided these potential investors three reasons why this region is a perfect investment site.
"First, the centrality of our location, as it is easily accessible within two- to four-hour air travel from Korea. Expanding infrastructure –— it's on its way becoming a single, contiguous geographic and economic growth corridor providing world-class logistics, infrastructure and services. Available investment locations — we have several Freeport zones," Yap said.
