Republic Act 11589, which was primarily authored and co-sponsored by Go in the Senate, provides for a 10-year modernization program that includes the acquisition of modern fire equipment, recruitment of more firefighters, and provision of specialized training, among others.
Go also advised those with health concerns to seek the services of the Malasakit Center at the Ospital ng Parañaque should they need assistance with their medical bills.
A one-stop shop, the Malasakit Center provides poor and indigent patients convenient access to medical assistance programs from Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Health, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, and the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation.
