Rustan’s for the Beauty Addict

As the face and standards of beauty have changed through the years, Rustan's Beauty Addict, the posh loyalty program of the upmarket department store, hosted A Decade of Beauty affair, which showcased the makeup trends through the years in their stylish store in Ayala Center Cebu.

In its endeavor to empower beauty enthusiasts to shine brightly and be confidently beautiful, Rustan's The Beauty Source centered the theme on sparkling diamonds.

The invitees were treated to a trip down memory lane with a fashion show that highlighted looks from 2013's red carpet orange lip, all the way to 2022's shimmering and rhinestone-accented trends. Talented makeup artists such as Sherry Cabatino Daina, Kian Valencia Aza, and Lyle Ocampo recreated the fabulous scene-stealers from yesteryears.

As a special treat, coveted luxury brands such as CHANEL, La Prairie, Sisley, Clarins, Murad, Estee Lauder, Jo Malone, Laura Mercier, MAC, Acca Kappa, and Deborah Lippmann, prepared fun activities and exclusive offers for the attendees.  A pleasant surprise for the first 100 guests who completed ten games were limited edition Beauty Addict bracelets.

The much anticipated annual event was hosted by Miss Universe Philippines 2021 2nd Runner-Up  Steffi Aberasturi. The show unfolded with an elegant performance by contemporary dancers from Cebu Center for Dance.

Among the prominent attendees were Cebu-based celebrity host Divine Lee Go, beauty queens Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2014 Kris Janson, Miss World Philippines 2022 Maria Gigante, Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados, and Miss Earth 2008 Karla Henry. Also spotted were content creators Clare Inso, Etienne Codina Sofia Baroud, and Rose Abao.

To culminate the fun event, Rustan's The Beauty Source raffled off exciting prizes which included miles-inclusive flights courtesy of Philippine Airlines Mabuhay Miles and a three-night vacation for two at The Peninsula, New York in USA. The grand prize winner received a gift certificate, plus a skin consultation upon visiting the Malin Goetz store in New York. Finally, they received a certificate for complimentary facial treatment at the Mario Badescu NYC Salon.
