EasyBrand Philippines, one of the leading F&B ingredient suppliers of the country, recently honored their food and beverage industry partners and dealers in celebration of their 8th anniversary.
"This anniversary marks a milestone for us at Easy. We started servicing a few MSMEs, and now we have grown into partnering with 12,000 food and beverage retail chains in the country. Our network is a combination of our institutional and micro and small enterprises," said Andrei Lim, Sales Director.
Since 2014, the Filipino food service brand has been helping small businesses scale up with easy-to-use and inexpensive ingredients made for restaurants, catering services and coffee and milk tea shops.
Easy's concept came from its president and CEO, Mark Wang, who has been in the food industry since 2012 through his Mexican restaurant. He saw how challenging it's been for entrepreneurs to gather ingredients, so he offered baking supplies through his food service venture, Top Chefs Food Supplies, in 2014.
"Being trusted by our customers when it comes to premium taste and quality is something we're proud of. It's a fulfilling feat to be trusted by our customers — from big institutions that are popular food retail chains in the country to end users — who are just starting a small food and beverage business. We listen to them and cater to their needs," said Wang.
In providing quality service to their partners and dealers, Easy mentioned that they offer promotions and are very flexible to their client's needs, especially in delivery and logistics. They make their resources available online — product ideas and tutorials can be seen on YouTube. Easy's social media pages are also updated so customers can see what's new with the brand. "Our customer service is always open to answer customers' questions and concerns daily," he added.
Known for its strict adherence to food safety and quality with product standards certifications from the Philippine Food and Drug Administration, the company is now certified for Good Manufacturing Practices, and some of its products are now Halal certified.
"We are always committed to quality, and it is a milestone for us to be certified in the industry for bringing premium and safe products to our clients here and abroad. This is, I believe, what food manufacturers should prioritize. Now that the costs of raw materials keep on rising, we should ensure we make all the necessary steps to keep our products in quality and available for our customers," Wang shared.
