Car thieves collared
Three car thieves that include a Chinese national were arrested in a follow-up operation conducted by personnel of Parañaque City police Wednesday night at Eddie Boy Compound, Barangay San Isidro, Parañaque City.

A report had it that complainant Jerry de la Peña y Coronel, 55 years old, businessman, sought police assistance after suspects identified as Wen Zhang 35 years old, Chinese National, Bernard Guevarra y Noche, 47 years old and Billy Macanan y Imbrano, 45 years old went to NJP Towing Services asking for the release of one Mitsubishi Pajero, using falsified documents.
Prior to the incident, the same suspects were able to secure the release of two motor vehicles that were impounded for traffic violation sometime in January 2022 allegedly using falsified documents issued by Parañaque Traffic Bureau on 4 and 16 November 2022 prompting the complainant to seek help from the police.
The policemen in the follow-up operation recovered one gray 2018 Mitsubishi Montero with plate number DAJ8860 at Woodville Residence, Barangay Merville, Parañaque and one sleek metallic 2011 Lexus sedan with plate number PIR118 at Old Nayong Filipino Complex, Pasay City.
The vehicles were released to the suspects using alleged falsified documents. A. MURCIA
