Franchising beefs up steak house

VIDEOGRAB FROM GISING NA! ‘ALL About Beef’ is all about adapting to crisis, Angelo Sicat says.
Derailed by the global pandemic, the chain of restaurants "All About Beef" quickly adapted and pivoted its business through the franchise scheme.
The business regained its footing and now it is gearing up to open more branches.
In an interview with the Daily Tribune's Gising Na!, Neil Angelo Sicat, CEO and president of "All About Beef," said they developed their brand and pivoted to franchising in various areas of the country.
When it comes to price range, we can go
head-to-head with other brands, or we are way cheaper.
"Last July, we were given an opportunity to concoct a menu using Australian beef, as we are also a distributor of the product in Luzon. Right now, we have different distributors using the principle to create a market for our businesses," he said.
Unlimited steaks of "All About Beef" also comes with unlimited pasta, unlimited drinks, and unlimited side dishes, including coleslaw, and homemade fresh potatoes, that cost P549 per serving.
Further, he said they have established a physical restaurant, which started from a parking space.
"Fortunately, after two weeks, the company expanded. From a restaurant, we are opening five branches this month in various municipalities in Pampanga," he added.
The "All About Beef" in Pampanga is known for its delectable and unlimited steak, using Australian beef.
"When it comes to price range, we can go head-to-head with other brands, or we are way cheaper, and this gives us the opportunity. Right now, we are number one here, as the product that we offer is the best Australian beef," Sicat underscored.
He said the company uses frozen fresh Australian beef that is locally slaughtered, fattened, and grass-fed in the Philippines.
"What we are doing is we are bringing the cattle from Australia, and we utilize the Australian way, and this is monitored by the Australian government or accreditation. We are very strict about following that standard."
