Shark's Billiards Arena declared a new champion in the recent 10-Ball Open Billiard Championship in Quezon City recently.
Kyle Amoroto of Taytay, Rizal bags the champion trophy and cash last 31 October where 400 plus contenders joined the said completion.
The Shark's Billiards tournament was sponsored by Negros Oriental 3rd District Representative Arnie Teves Jr.
"Billiards is one of sports that we should support in our country. Just like Efren "Bata" Reyes he gave us fame in the whole world, this Pinoy athletes should be given attention. We have slim chances in basketball and volleyball. But in billiards, we have great chances to always conquer the title against other country," said Teves.
The tournament was the first 10-ball open tournament in the country and the tournament offered P300 per entry and P1.5M of cash prizes.
"We are so blessed to have Representative Arnie Teves. We really appreciate his support to Pinoy athletes," said Amoroto.
Second place went to Paul John Ladao of Olongapo City.
