Four women were arrested for alleged pimping during operations by joint operatives of the Quezon City police's special operations and women and children concern section units over the weekend.
P/Lt.Col. Rolando Lorenzo Jr. identified those arrested as Diane Taguba, 43; Joan Lucban, 37; Jennifer Tuico, 42; and Jocelyn Ilas, 41.
Four other women were rescued after they were offered for paid sex by the suspects in Barangay San Martin de Porres.
The entrapment operations were centered near the footbridge at the southbound lane of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue, corner of Aurora Boulevard in the said barangay.

The suspects were charged with violating Republic Act 11862 or the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2022.
The rescued women, meanwhile, were brought to the Quezon City Social Services Developmental Department for assistance.
Human trafficking has been tagged as next only to narcotics in size as a criminal enterprise, with the Philippines being a special concern with an estimated 784,000 trafficked people.
Nonetheless, the Philippines has been listed by the United States Department of State as a Tier 1 country which means that it fully meets the minimum standard for eliminating human trafficking.
A study by Sara McGeough and The Anti-Human Trafficking Intelligence Cell of Mercyhurst University dated 15 March 2022, cited by the website The Exodus Road, said the "Philippines is one of the largest sources of online sexual exploitation of children.
"Many of the sex tourists in the Philippines come from wealthy, developed countries and are often convicted or charged sex offenders in their home countries. However, Filipino men also purchase commercial sex acts from trafficked children," the study said.
