President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. — together with Department of Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista — joined the Philippine Coast Guards' celebration of its 121st Founding Anniversary of world-class service, commitment and dedication in protecting our seas on Thursday.
Marcos, in his speech, stressed that his administration will be supportive of the PCG's efforts and initiatives to modernize the Philippine Coast Guardwhich will redound to the better delivery of service to the nation.
"With the brave men and women of the Philippine Coast Guard, guarding our shores, I am confident that we will be able to steer our nation in a direction towards safer shores and even onwards to a better, brighter, and more prosperous future," said the President.
