The Department of Health- Metro Manila Center for Health Development recognized the Las Piñas city government for outstanding financial compliance in utilizing DOH's funding and prompt and correct liquidation.
Las Piñas City was also awarded a plaque of appreciation and a cheque worth P150,000 for supporting DOH programs and providing equitable access to quality and affordable healthcare services.
The awarding ceremony coincided with
the 35th anniversary of DOH-MMCHD on 14 October at the Manila Hotel.
Las Piñas Vice-Mayor April Aguilar said improving health services is part of Las Piñas Mayor Imelda Aguilar's "Tuloy ang Tapat at Progresibong Serbisyo" program.
