TARLAC CITY — The Department of the Interior and Local Government Tarlac Provincial Office recently provided assistance to former rebels who are part of the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program at the Old Sanggunian Panlalawigan Hall, Tarlac Provincial Capitol here.
The agency awarded an immediate grant worth P15,000 to nine Militia ng Bayan and direct assistance and livelihood assistance amounting to P65,000 to 11 regular members of the New People's Army.
The program also awarded reintegration assistance to the receiving units that took the FRs under their custody. The said reintegration assistance, amounting to P21,000 per FR, shall cover the costs that the teams incurred during the stay of the FRs.
The E-CLIP is a program of DILG that provides financial assistance to FRs who surrendered to become productive members of society.
