Remulla to meet with UNHRC officials

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla will meet with high officials of the United Nations Human Rights Council as he attends an interactive dialogue in Geneva, Switzerland from 4 to 14 October.

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla will meet with high officials of the United Nations Human Rights Council as he attends an interactive dialogue in Geneva, Switzerland from 4 to 14 October.
In a statement released to the media yesterday afternoon, Remulla will participate in the 51st HRC Enhance Interactive Dialogue and Bilateral Meetings and for the State's Constructive Dialogue/Revalida with the Human rights Committee on the International Covenant on Civil Political Rights.
He is scheduled to meet either Acting High Commissioner Nada al Nashaif or incoming High Commissioner Volker Turk.
The justice chief is also set to meet with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees Mr. Filippo Grandi and International Committee on the Red Cross vice president Giles Carbonneir.
While in Geneva, the Philippine Mission in Geneva will host an official dinner in honor of Remulla with the HRC President Federico Villegas and select ambassadors.
The justice chief flew to Geneva over the weekend with Justice Undersecretaries Jesse Hermogenes T. Andres and Raul T. Vasquez; AO 35 Secretariat Head Gino Paolo S. Santiago; OIC-Senior Deputy State Prosecutor hazel Decena-Valdez and members of the Department of Foreign Affairs delegation.
