A laborer was collared by irate parents Sunday for allegedly masturbating in front of their daughter, a college student, in Navotas City.

The suspect, identified by the police as Renato Gilbuena, 49, was charged with violating Republic Act 11313 or the Safe Spaces Act.

According to the police, the complainant was outside their house when she saw Gilbuena allegedly fondling his penis inside his shorts while looking lewdly at her.

The young woman texted her cousin who then informed her parents about her predicament. The parents proceeded to accost the suspect with the help of village guards.

In Sta Cruz, Manila, a man wrote "finito" as he was reported by the police to have suffered a fatal heart attack in a tryst inside an inn.

The 49–year-old man was declared dead on arrival at the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center, homicide investigator P/Cpl. Rodolfo Acosta III said.

Acosta said in his report that the dead man's partner told them that they had just checked in and were just starting to undress when he fell down clutching his chest.

The woman sought help from the staffers of the inn and they brought the man to the hospital to no avail. The body was brought to the Cruz Funeral Homes for autopsy and safekeeping.
