Air Swift launched its commercial flights to Romblon Airport recently in Tablas Island, Romblon.
The opening of commercial flights were attended by Alcantara Mayor Riza Galicia-Pamorada, Romblon Governor Jose Riano, Romblon Vice Governor Armando Gutierrez, Air Swift president Alfonso Javier Reyes, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines Area III manager Glenn Tripulca and DoT regional director Atty. Bevienne Malateo.
CAAP Flight Standard Inspectorate Service inspectors simultaneously conducted a validity flight check on the ATR 42-600 aircraft used in the maiden flight.
According to CAAP, Air Swift replaced CebGo in catering commercial flights in Romblon after the latter officially terminated its operations at the airport on 20 August 2022.
It added that the Air Swift will be flying to Romblon from Manila and vice versa twice a week, which is every Tuesday and Saturday.
