The distribution of educational cash assistance to students of the University of Caloocan City (UCC) began this Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
In the coordination of the office of 1st District Representative Oca Malapitan with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), about 500 1st year students of the UCC-Camarin Campus were given P2,000 cash assistance on the said day.
According to Councilor Enteng Malapitan who represents Cong. Oca in the payout, the congressman wishes to continue to prioritize the education sector, so it continues to collaborate with various agencies that promote programs for Batang Caloocans.
The representative continues to communicate with the DSWD and the university administration so that more UCC scholars can receive financial assistance for their studies.
