BAGUIO CITY — Police reported that a dental technician was declared dead on arrival while another one was still unconscious after they were fatally shot by an unidentified gunman on early Thursday morning inside a restobar in Barangay San Juan, Tabuk City in Kalinga.

The fatality was identified as Joegie Valera Cabicungan, a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga, while the injured victim was identified as Orland Dave Pascual a.k.a Sadam of Sitio Baligatan, Purok 6, Bulanao, Tabuk City.

According to the police report, the victims were drinking inside a restobar while the still unidentified suspect was at a nearby table.

The gunman suddenly stood up, went towards the table of Pascual and Cabicungan, and shot them several times. The suspect fled to unknown direction.
The victims were already brought to the Kalinga Provincial Hospital.
