Around 95 percent of 48,991 persons deprived of liberty in the prison facilities of the Bureau of Corrections have already been vaccinated against Covid-19.

BuCor public information office head, Chief Supt. Julie May C. Taguiam, said Thursday some 35,700 PDLs have received their booster shots

Taguiam assured that they will continue their vaccination program for PDLs and personnel.

She said 94.9 of their personnel or 4,836 have been vaccinated as of 30 July.

She said they are doing all they could to protect the PDLs along with their personnel against Covid-19.
