Former world champion Jerwin Ancajas is back working with a team of nutritionists to address his weight difficulties.

About six weeks before he attempts to regain the International Boxing Federation super-flyweight crown, Ancajas has been getting extra advice from people working at the Philippine Sports Commission.

PSC Executive Director Guillermo Iroy told Daily Tribune that the helping hand given to the Filipino boxer "is not financial but purely sports science requirements."

It could be recalled that Ancajas used to work with Jeaneth Aro, the weight guru of Olympic weightlifting champion Hidilyn Diaz and a bevy of other top talents.

Ancajas lost the IBF 115-lb diadem last February in Las Vegas to Argentine Fernando Martinez.

On 8 October, Ancajas and Martinez square off for the second time in Carson, California.

Sean Gibbons, who represents Ancajas, said the PSC's team has been regularly sending him updates about Ancajas' progress in the buildup for the Martinez rematch.

Ancajas will spend most of training camp in the Philippines and will only fly to the United States by the third week of September.
