Eala barges into Hong Kong Tennis Open final

Alex Eala reached the final of the Hong Kong Tennis Open for the first time in her career after beating world No. 30 Maria Sakkari of Greece, 7-5, 3-6, 6-4, in a hard-fought semifinal on Saturday.
The 21-year-old Filipina will face world No. 102 Claire Liu of the United States in Sunday's championship match, with a chance to claim the second Women's Tennis Association (WTA) title of her career.
Eala stands to earn $37,390, around P2.4 million, if she captures the Hong Kong crown.
