Kolette Madelo and River Joseph are taking their onscreen chemistry in a darker direction.

The pair, whose team-up in the primetime series Blood Vs Duty caught the attention of viewers, stars in Dead Girl Walking, a new vertical series that mixes campus drama, revenge and romance.

At the center of the story is Luna, played by Kolette, a student who becomes the target of bullying by some of her school’s most popular students. What begins as a cruel prank takes a tragic turn, setting off a chain of events that changes everything.

A mysterious new student named Selene soon arrives with one mission: Make those responsible answer for what they did to Luna.

River plays Elio, the school’s popular heartthrob, who unexpectedly becomes Selene’s ally. As they carry out their plans for revenge, the two form an unlikely friendship that eventually develops into something more.

The series also features Allyson McBride, Reich Alim, Hannah Vito, Desiree del Valle and Nikki Valdez. Emerald Silvestre directs the project, which is produced by JRB Creative Production.
