EDSA Busway Bagong Barrio now opens

Commuters use the newly rehabilitated EDSA Busway Station in Bagong Barrio, Caloocan City, on 20 October 2026, following its reopening to the public. Part of Phase 1 of the EDSA Busway Rehabilitation Project, the station features wider platforms, improved waiting sheds, railings, and tactile paving. Despite serving an average of 183,000 passengers daily in 2025, the EDSA Busway received no allocation under the proposed 2027 National Expenditure Program, raising concerns over potential operational disruptions without government funding.
