Football may be played on the field, but the biggest battles often happen behind closed doors.

This is the world explored in The Land, a new drama series from creator Dan Fogelman, the mind behind acclaimed shows This Is Us and Paradise. Premiering on 16 February 2027 on Disney+ Philippines, the series dives into the complicated relationships, power struggles and personal sacrifices that come with running a professional football franchise.

Set within the Cleveland Browns organization, The Land follows head coach Danny Roarke, a veteran leader facing the toughest challenge of his career after several disappointing seasons. With his future tied to the team’s performance, Roarke looks to a newly drafted Ohio State quarterback as the franchise’s possible turning point — a player who also happens to be his son.

As the team fights to reclaim its winning identity, another battle unfolds within the organization’s leadership. Team owner Hal Durkin must determine which of his two daughters has what it takes to inherit control of the franchise, putting family relationships and business ambitions on a collision course.

Leading the cast is Christopher Meloni as Danny Roarke, alongside Mandy Moore, Chace Crawford, Sam Corlett, Tanner Zagarino, Chloe Bennet, Bridget Moynahan, William H. Macy and Omar Epps.
