Cebu governor marks daughter's birthday

Cebu Governor Pamela “Pam” Baricuatro took a brief respite from her official duties Monday to celebrate the birthday of her daughter, Dr. Elisse Nicole Baricuatro Catalan-Vizcayno, with a surprise lunch attended by provincial government officials and employees.
The modest gathering at the Capitol highlighted family and camaraderie, allowing the governor and the workforce to extend their birthday greetings to Dr. Catalan-Vizcayno.
Dr. Catalan-Vizcayno, a medical doctor, shares her mother’s dedication to public welfare and serves as a supportive presence as the governor manages her responsibilities to the province. Their shared commitment to community service reflects values both mother and ecosystem uphold.
For Baricuatro, often called the "People’s Governor," the event offered a personal moment to honor her daughter alongside members of the provincial government.
The celebration emphasized that meaningful milestones do not require elaborate affairs, proving that a simple meal and the presence of colleagues and loved ones can make an occasion memorable.
As Dr. Catalan-Vizcayno celebrates another year, the gathering underscored the enduring bond between mother and daughter, rooted in their mutual dedication to the people of Cebu.
