(September 23 2026) Militant groups hold a picket outside the House of Representatives in Quezon City on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, to condemn the railroading of the budget of the office of the President which highlights the malicious collusion of Malacanang and congress in embedding pork barrel and other anomalous items in the 2027 general appropriations bill. The House plenary was expected to tackle and approve the proposed budget despite calls from the groups for greater scrutiny of confidential funds and other allocations for the Office of the President.
