Operatives of the San Juan City Police Station arrested four individuals wanted for cyber libel following the implementation of a warrant of arrest on Friday, 11 September.
The operation was conducted at around 11:30 a.m. at the San Juan Hall of Justice, located along P. Guevarra Street corner Pinaglabanan Road, Barangay Corazon De Jesus, San Juan City.
Arrested were alias Nard, 42; Bert, 32; JR, 47; and Ben, 51. They were apprehended by joint elements of the Station Intelligence Section, Warrant and Subpoena Section, SWAT personnel, and Sub-station 4 of San Juan City Police Station.
The arrest was carried out by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 93, Quezon City, dated September 9, 2026, for violation of Section 4(c), Chapter II of Republic Act 10175, otherwise known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, specifically Cyber Libel. The court recommended bail of P10,000 for each accused.
The four accused are currently under the custody of the San Juan City Police Station custodial facility pending further legal proceedings.
The warrant of arrest will be returned to the issuing court for appropriate disposition.
