Metrobank has expanded its digital wealth management services through an enhanced mobile app that allows customers to invest, monitor portfolios and manage other banking needs in one platform.
The enhanced Metrobank App gives customers access to Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITFs) through UITF Online, as well as peso government bonds and other wealth management tools through Wealth Manager.
Customers can also trade government securities online and view a consolidated picture of their investment portfolio through the app.
Metrobank currently offers more than 25 UITFs across various asset classes and currencies, catering to different investment objectives and risk profiles.
Through UITF Online, customers can invest in peso- and dollar-denominated UITFs, monitor their holdings, redeem investments and download account statements.
The minimum investment starts at P1,000, although the required amount varies depending on the fund. The UITFs available to customers also depend on the currency of their enrolled Metrobank savings account.
Existing UITF Online users will have their accounts automatically reflected in the Metrobank App. Existing UITF investors who have not yet enrolled in UITF Online can access the service by enrolling the settlement account linked to their UITF investment account.
