King of fruits in Divisoria

A fruit stall sells Puyat variety durian for 100 pesos a kilo at Divisoria Market in Manila on 16 August 2026. Known as the “king of fruits” in Southeast Asia, Philippine durian exports to China began in 2023, with China remaining the fruit’s largest overseas market. The Department of Agriculture said durian exports were valued at US$8.82 million in 2025, with most shipments going to China.
