The body of a 13-year-old boy who went missing Friday in Sitio Dungan, Tabun Riverside, Mabalacat City, Pampanga, was recovered on Saturday, 15 August 2026, in a riverside area in nearby Bamban, Tarlac.
The Mabalacat City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) Water Search and Rescue Team, in coordination with the Bamban Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), recovered the boy’s body in Barangay Lourdes, Bamban, at around 9:30 a.m.
The joint operation was carried out because of the proximity of Mabalacat and Bamban, with the Bamban River traversing both localities.
