Members of the media, civic leaders and invited guests gathered at Greenbelt myCinema on 5 August for an exclusive preview of Just Javier, the acclaimed Spanish documentary from Bosco Films.
The intimate screening was hosted through the support of Monica Zobel de Ayala and Sofia Zobel Elizalde, who welcomed guests to a first look at the inspiring true story of Javier Sartorius Milans del Bosch.
Directed by Josepmaria Anglès and produced by Adauge, Just Javier follows the remarkable journey of the young Spanish aristocrat and accomplished athlete whose chance encounter with people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles transformed his life. Leaving behind privilege and comfort, Javier embraced a life of simplicity and missionary service in Cusco, Peru.
Following the screening, guests reflected on the documentary’s moving themes of faith, purpose and selfless service, which have resonated with audiences across Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries.
Just Javier opens exclusively in select Ayala Malls Cinemas nationwide on 12 August, inviting Filipino audiences to discover a story of courage, sacrifice, and the search for a life of deeper meaning.
