  • Around P3.5-million worth of suspected shabu were seized during a buy‑bust operation at around 4:40 p.m. at Barangay Tungkong Mangga, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan on 6 August 2026.

According to PDEA, the operation also led to the arrest of a big-time drug peddler involved in the bulk distribution of shabu across Bulacan and nearby towns in Pampanga.

PDEA team leader identified the suspect as alias "Tol," a male resident of Caloocan City.

Aside from the illegal drugs, operatives also recovered the marked money used by the poseur‑buyer.

According to PDEA, it took two months of surveillance and coordination before they were able to arrange a transaction with the target.

"Tol was very elusive and extremely cautious in his dealings, this is why it took months to set up a successful drug transaction with him," the team leader added.

The operation was conducted by the combined elements from the PDEA Zambales Provincial Office, PDEA RO3 Special Enforcement Team, and PDEA Bulacan Provincial Office.

Alias "Tol" will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165. If found guilty, the suspect will be dealt with the penalty of life imprisonment.
