Former VP Binay honors 24 Scouts

Former Vice President Jejomar Binay, together with Manila City Administrator Atty. Eduardo "Wardee" P. Quintos and officials of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, led the commemoration and blessing of the Scout Memorial Pavilion at the Manila North Cemetery on 28 July 2026 in honor of the 24 Filipino scouts who perished in a plane crash over the Arabian Sea 63 years ago. Binay also joined Boy Scouts from Metro Manila in the traditional boodle fight following the ceremony.
