Maya, the country’s leading digital financial services platform, earned Gold and Silver honors at the PR Awards Asia-Pacific 2026, with its campaigns recognized for excellence in brand collaboration and consumer engagement.
The company won Gold in the Best Brand Collaboration category for its “Save a Housemate. Save with Maya.” campaign, which introduced a “Save-to-Vote” feature during the 2025 season of Pinoy Big Brother. Instead of using the traditional SMS voting system, users deposited money into their Maya accounts before casting votes, promoting saving while engaging fans of the reality show.
Maya also received Silver in the Consumer Launch category for its “Welcome to Maya Black” campaign, which introduced the Maya Black Visa Platinum credit card. The campaign highlighted the card’s AI-driven underwriting system and fully digital application process, while its launch was also shortlisted in the PR Event category.
“These awards recognize the kind of work we believe in — building products and campaigns that address real customer needs in ways people genuinely connect with,” said Maya Group chief marketing officer Pepe Torres. “For us, creativity only matters if it creates real impact, and that’s the standard we continue to hold ourselves to.”
The recognition marks Maya’s fourth consecutive year of winning at the PR Awards Asia-Pacific, organized by Campaign Asia, which honors outstanding public relations campaigns and brand communications across the region.
