Mateusz Vaughn Johnson and Abigail Jane Lim are expected to hit their marks after coming up with podium finishes in the men’s and women’s U18 compound divisions of the 2026 Singapore Youth Archery Championships recently.
“We will be competing in the coming 2026 Kadayawan Philippine Archery Davao Leg Championships this August 18 to 23 at the Tionko field. It will be part of our preparation for the international tournament,” Lim said during the weekly Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum.
“This will be a good preparation for us as we expect other archers from the country to also compete,” Johnson added.
Prior to the 2026 Singapore Youth Archery Championships, both archers competed in the Batang Pinoy Games in General Santos, where Davao City placed third overall to underscore the city’s impressive performance.
