(July 20 2026) Ahead of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. 4th State of the Nation Address (SONA) on July 27, fisherfolk organizations, civil society groups and environmental advocates gathered to launch AGOS ang Kalagayan ng karagatan, Pangisdaan, at mga Pamayanang Baybayin sa Pilipinas. The pre-SONA gathering assesses the state of the country’s fisheries sector and provided a platform for coastal to present their demands to the National government, on Monday July 20 2026.
