Security Bank Corp. and its investment banking arm, Security Bank Capital Investment Corp., received nine awards at The Asset Triple A Sustainable Infrastructure Finance Awards 2026, recognizing their role in financing major infrastructure projects in the energy, water and transport sectors.
Among the top honors were Asia-Pacific Deal of the Year and Project Finance Deal of the Year for the P150-billion Terra Solar Philippines Inc. term loan, where Security Bank served as lender and Security Bank Capital acted as co-arranger. The financing supports the development of the MTerra Solar Project, which is expected to become the world’s largest integrated solar and battery storage facility.
The group also received Renewable Energy Deal of the Year — Hydro for the Olympia Violago Water & Power Inc. term loan and a Highly Commended recognition for the Ahunan Power Inc. project, both of which involve pumped hydro facilities that support renewable energy integration and strengthen the country’s energy security.
In the water sector, Security Bank Capital was recognized with the Water Deal of the Year award for its role as domestic co-lead underwriter in the P34.3-billion Maynilad Water Services Inc. initial public offering, while it also won Transport Deal of the Year for the P20-billion Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. bond issuance.
