BOC seized P41 million worth of illegal drugs

Bureau of Customs Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno leads the inspection of illegal drugs seized at the Central Mail Exchange Center in Pasay City on 17 July 2026. Authorities confiscated at least ₱41 million worth of illegal drugs from 39 parcels originating from various countries. The seized contraband consisted primarily of ecstasy, kush, and methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as shabu.
