BAGUIO CITY — Anti-drug operatives uprooted and destroyed an estimated 100,000 fully grown marijuana plantsworth about P20 million during a two-day operation in Mountain Province.
The plantation, covering around 10,000 square meters, was discovered near the boundary of Sadanga, Mountain Province, and Tinglayan, Kalinga, specifically at Mount Makago-ong in Barangay Saclit, from 11 to 12 July.
The operation was conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Mountain Province, the Mountain Province Police Provincial Office, the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, the Sadanga Municipal Police Station, the Provincial Intelligence Unit, and the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company.
