Ayala Land Offices' One Ayala East and West Towers have earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification, reinforcing the development's position as a sustainable workplace for companies pursuing environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals.
The certifications cover 74,531 square meters of commercial office space and recognize the towers' compliance with internationally recognized standards for energy efficiency, resource management, indoor environmental quality and sustainable building operations.
One Ayala South Tower has also received LEED certification, extending the development's commitment to sustainable building practices across all three office towers.
In addition, the East, West and South towers have all earned EDGE Zero Carbon certification, signifying that the buildings have achieved net-zero operational carbon through water conservation, energy-efficient systems, the use of one hundred percent renewable energy and carbon offsetting measures.
According to Ayala Land Offices, the certifications provide tenants with office spaces that support increasingly important ESG objectives.
As sustainability becomes a key consideration in corporate real estate decisions, certified office developments can help organizations meet carbon reduction targets, sustainability reporting requirements and stakeholder expectations.
"More companies today are looking beyond traditional office requirements and seeking workplaces that support their broader sustainability ambitions," said Hamm Katipunan, chief executive officer of Ayala Land Offices.
"By achieving both LEED and EDGE Zero Carbon certifications across all three towers, One Ayala provides organizations with an address that aligns with their environmental commitments while delivering the connectivity, accessibility and workplace experience they need to thrive," he added.
Located at the intersection of major transport networks in Makati, One Ayala offers premium office spaces with direct access to public transportation, retail, dining and lifestyle establishments.
Ayala Land Offices said the certifications reflect its commitment to developing future-ready workplaces that help businesses achieve their sustainability goals while creating long-term value for stakeholders.
