Co-ed K-pop group KARD has announced that it will officially disband after releasing its upcoming album and completing its final world tour.
In a statement addressed to fans, the group's agency, DSP Media, said KARD's first full-length album, Where To Now? (Part.2): NOWHERE, will be released on 28 July before the quartet embarks on its farewell world tour.
The agency said that, after extensive discussions with all four members, they mutually agreed that the album and tour would mark the end of the group's journey together.
DSP Media also expressed its gratitude to KARD's fandom, HIDDEN KARD, for its unwavering support over the years and encouraged fans to continue cheering for the members as they begin the next chapter of their individual careers.
"We kindly request your continued interest in this final chapter, which will be filled with the most KARD-like moments until the very end," the agency said.
KARD, composed of members J.Seph, BM, Somin and Jiwoo, debuted on 19 July 2017.
