Disney+ is set to grow its anime collection after securing a new agreement with Anime Ltd. that will bring more than 10 acclaimed Japanese animated films to subscribers in the U.K. and France.

Arriving on the streaming platform later this year are fan-favorite titles such as Your Name., Weathering with You, Mirai, Belle, AKIRA, Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, Perfect Blue, A Silent Voice, Summer Wars, Wolf Children, and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. Several of the movies will be available for streaming in the U.K. and France for the first time.

The lineup showcases celebrated filmmakers including Makoto Shinkai, Mamoru Hosoda, Mamoru Oshii, Satoshi Kon, Naoko Yamada, and Katsuhiro Otomo, whose works have earned international recognition and critical acclaim.

Disney executives said the expanded catalog reflects the growing popularity of anime in Europe and the company's commitment to making Disney+ a leading destination for premium Japanese animation. Anime Ltd. also welcomed the partnership, saying fans in the U.K., Ireland, and France can look forward to enjoying some of the industry's most beloved films in one place.

Disney+ has yet to reveal the individual premiere dates for each title.
