An administrative complaint for grave misconduct and conduct unbecoming of a police officer was filed Tuesday against a Taguig City policeman accused of sexually harassing an 8-year-old girl.
National Police Commission (Napolcom) commissioner Rafael Vicente R. Calinisan announced the filing against Police Cpl. Michael Jo Aure Nogales during a press briefing. Nogales is assigned to Sub-Station 4 of the Taguig City Police Station.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred 21 June when Nogales allegedly approached the child, made inappropriate remarks comparing her to his wife, and repeatedly caressed her face without consent.
The child reported feeling intimidated, uncomfortable and embarrassed.
