German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier lays a wreath at the monument of Dr. Jose Rizal in Luneta, Manila on 16 June 2026, as part of his three-day state visit to the Philippines. President Steinmeier is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to discuss defense cooperation, renewable energy, trade and investment, and other areas of mutual interest.
