Search and rescue units from various agencies participated in the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Search and Rescue Exercise (SAREX) at Dolomite Beach, Manila Bay, on 15 May 2026. Mandated by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the exercise tests national preparedness, communication reliability, and the execution of SAR mission procedures to ensure maritime and aviation safety.
